Business Development Executive (Fragrances), Vietnam (12-Month Contract)

As a Business Development Executive, you will support the Business Development Manager in managing the fragrance library and coordinating various business development projects. You will assist in olfactory and training activities with respective clients and coordinate meetings, customer intimacy programs and events. You will also serve as the key point of contact for the Regional Office on marketing-related requirements as well as provide support for Consumer Market Insights activities.

In this role, you will be responsible to deliver business growth by ensuring timely customer forecasting, purchase order issuance, customer complaints, delivery and shipment, negotiation support and addressing requests from customer planners and purchasers.

The Position:

• Manage the fragrance library and support application lab management to ensure speed to market and agility for Vietnam and Myanmar markets
• Support the Business Development Manager (Fragrances), Vietnam in smelling sessions and client training activities
• Coordinate meetings, customer intimacy programs and events including communication, materials and product requirements
• Act as the point of contact for the Regional Office on marketing requirements and Consumer Market Insights support
• Support sales growth by ensuring timely customer forecasting and assisting customers with purchase order issuance
• Assist the Business Development Manager in customer intimacy activities and quality compliant follow-ups
• Manage delivery and shipment coordination including handling delivery-related complaints
• Address requests from customer planners and purchasers in a timely and professional manner
• Support increased customer activities linked to growth plans for Vietnam and Myanmar
• Enable key customer acquisition activities and support strategic business development initiatives
• Partner closely with the Business Development Manager and Business Unit stakeholders on key categories and major growth projects

The Ideal Candidate:

• Degree in Business Administration, Science, Marketing or other relevant disciplines
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the B2B and/or FMCG industries
• Strong fragrance evaluation capabilities with the ability to engage in high-level technical discussions with customers
• Creative thinker with the ability to identify innovative solutions that meet customers' brand needs, differentiate from competition and create new business opportunities
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Vietnamese
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently with a strong team spirit
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
