Reports to: Director of Sales, or CEO-designated sales leader until filled

Build the Next Generation of Aerospace Growth

Global Filtration, Inc. is an FAA-approved manufacturer of PMA aircraft filtration products serving aviation customers worldwide. Founded in 1995 and now headquartered in Waco, Texas, we provide cabin air, hydraulic, oil, fuel and nitrogen gas filters; metal-fiber filtration; inspection kits; hardware; traceable components; custom design support; and maintenance and replacement solutions.

We are entering an aggressive growth phase with a clear goal: scale Global Filtration toward $20 million in annual revenue while protecting the quality, traceability and customer trust that aviation demands. We are hiring an Aerospace Account Executive who can open doors, build relationships and convert customer requirements into profitable, repeatable business.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on revenue role for a proven aerospace seller who is equally comfortable prospecting new accounts, discussing technical aircraft applications, managing RFQs and quotations, visiting customers, and maintaining accurate pipeline and forecast reporting. You will pursue airlines, MROs, repair stations, distributors, operators, fleet managers and other aviation organizations across assigned markets.

What You Will Own

Develop new airline, MRO, repair-station, distributor, operator and fleet accounts through consistent outbound prospecting and strategic relationship building.

Grow assigned accounts through product cross-references, fleet and application reviews, replacement programs, customer visits and disciplined follow-up.

Manage the full sales cycle from target identification and discovery through RFQ, quotation, negotiation, close, reorder and account expansion.

Translate aircraft, fleet, OEM part-number and application requirements into accurate internal requests and customer quotations.

Maintain complete CRM records for calls, emails, meetings, opportunities, quotations, next actions, probability, timing and forecast value.

Build and maintain at least 3x qualified pipeline coverage against the monthly revenue target.

Protect Global Filtration's required gross-margin standards and obtain approval before offering exceptions.

Coordinate with quality, purchasing, warehouse, engineering, production and leadership to set realistic commitments and resolve customer needs.

Prepare weekly forecasts, pipeline updates, travel reports and account plans; participate in structured sales and leadership meetings.

Represent Global Filtration at customer facilities, industry conferences, aviation trade shows and distributor meetings.

Track competitor activity, market gaps, product opportunities and customer feedback that can support new PMA or custom-filtration programs.

How Success Will Be Measured

Ramped revenue target: $90,000 per month during months 4-6, progressing to $120,000 per month after territory stabilization.

Qualified pipeline: minimum 3x the monthly revenue target with documented next steps and realistic close dates.

Outbound execution after ramp: 40 calls and 20 targeted emails per business day, adjusted by the sales leader for approved travel and key-account workload.

Customer engagement: average of one live buyer, distributor or customer meeting per business day.

Opportunity creation: three qualified opportunities per business day after ramp.

CRM compliance: 100% same-day or next-business-day documentation and accurate weekly forecasting.

Commercial discipline: required margin maintained unless a written exception is approved.

Account health: repeat business, retention, quote conversion, response time and customer follow-through.

Required Qualifications

Five or more years of successful B2B sales, account management or business development experience in aerospace, aviation, aircraft parts, MRO, technical manufacturing or a closely related field.

Documented history of meeting or exceeding a measurable revenue, gross-margin or new-business quota.

Demonstrated ability to prospect and win new accounts rather than relying only on inbound orders or an inherited book of business.

  • Working knowledge of aviation customers, aircraft components, technical sales, RFQs, quotations, part-number cross-references or maintenance procurement.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, commercial judgment, follow-through and executive presence.

  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, pipeline reporting and sales forecasting.
  • Ability to work on-site in Waco and travel approximately 25%-35%, including occasional overnight travel.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet company travel requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

Existing relationships with airlines, MROs, repair stations, aerospace distributors, fleet operators or aviation procurement teams.

Experience selling FAA-PMA parts, filters, consumables, rotable or expendable components, maintenance kits or other aircraft aftermarket products.

Familiarity with Boeing and Airbus fleets, nitrogen-generation systems, hydraulic systems, cabin-air applications, oil or fuel filtration, or metal-fiber filtration.

Experience using Sage, an aviation ERP, quoting software or a CRM-connected phone and sales-tracking system.

A&P certificate, aviation maintenance background, engineering or technical education, or military aviation experience paired with proven sales ability.

Experience opening a territory, building distributor relationships or selling internationally.

What Global Filtration Offers

Competitive base salary and uncapped performance-based commission.

A visible role in a 30-plus-year aerospace company with direct access to executive leadership.

An established FAA-PMA product portfolio and a platform for new product and market development.

Structured onboarding, defined KPIs, sales tools and cross-functional support.

Company-paid approved business travel and the opportunity to represent Global Filtration nationally.

Relocation assistance may be considered for a highly qualified candidate.

Additional company benefits and paid-time-off details will be reviewed during the hiring process.

Application and Hiring Process

Apply through the job board or email a resume and brief summary of your aerospace sales results to [email protected]. Please include the annual quota or book of business you managed, your performance against target, the types of aviation customers you served and examples of new accounts you personally developed.

Finalists may be asked to complete a practical sales exercise and provide professional references. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of company-required employment documentation, a background check and drug screening administered through Checkr or another company-approved provider.
