- Build relationships with property managers, HOA and community leaders, commercial property owners, general contractors, and other decision-makers.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, site visits, estimating coordination, proposal presentation, negotiation, and closing.
- Develop and maintain a qualified pipeline that supports territory revenue and gross-profit goals.
- Protect pricing, project scope, and profitability throughout the sales process.
- Document opportunities, customer activity, proposals, and ownership in Aspire.
- Coordinate complete and accurate handoffs to the Operations team.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities across Sunline’s landscaping, tree-care, irrigation, pest-control, and specialty-service businesses.
- Maintain accurate forecasts and provide visibility into upcoming opportunities and expected closings.
- Support customer collections and help ensure that sold work results in profitable, long-term relationships.
What We’re Looking For
- Demonstrated success in business development, outside sales, or commercial services sales.
- Experience in landscaping, tree care, property services, facilities services, construction, or a related industry is strongly preferred.
- Ability to independently prospect and develop relationships with commercial decision-makers.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
- Financial discipline and the ability to understand pricing, job costs, and gross profit.
- Strong organization, follow-up, and pipeline-management skills.
- Ability to work in the field and regularly meet customers at their properties or places of business.
- Collaborative approach when working with estimating, operations, account management, and leadership teams.
- Experience using Aspire or another CRM or field-service management system is a plus.
Compensation
- OTE: Approximately $120,000–$140,000 at quota.
- Uncapped commission beginning with the first dollar of eligible collected gross profit.
- Increased commission rates for exceeding quota.
- Additional incentives for qualifying new customers, multi-service relationships, and strategic recurring contracts.
