The unique Farrow & Ball look transforms modern and traditional homes, large and small, inside and out. Established in Dorset in 1946, we have grown over the last 75 years and now proudly have 60 showrooms worldwide with a global network of stockists.
The key to our success is the people behind the paint: from the team handcrafting each tin to showroom staff to support functions, our shared passion ensures customers have a positive, engaging experience at every stage of their journey with us.
The Painter Business Development Manager is a senior, field-based sales professional responsible for growing product adoption and driving revenue via painters. This role will be responsible engaging directly with professional painters, the painter/contractor sales teams at our 3rd party retail partners, and our teams at Farrow & Ball showrooms.
This individual contributor role is ideal for someone with deep experience in the paint category, a passion for consultative and relationship-based selling, and a strong understanding of the product knowledge and application needs of professional painters. This role is central to our trade growth strategy and plays a key part in expanding painter loyalty, increasing our 3rd party sales activity, and supporting showroom sales.
As a key partner to both the 3rd party accounts and showroom teams, the Painter Business Development Manager acts as an ambassador for the Farrow & Ball brand—providing painter education, driving awareness, and representing the company at demos, training events, on-site visits, “ride-alongs”, virtual presentations and in-store engagements. This role requires frequent regional travel—up to 70%—across key identified markets, and other select west coast areas.
What we expect from you as a Business Development Manager.

- Track activity and performance through regular CRM reporting and pipeline updates.
- Represent Farrow & Ball at trade shows, dealer activations, and market events as needed.
