We are seeking a dynamic and motivated professional with a proven track record to develop and grow OEM sales in the North American automotive market as well as non-automotive markets.

The role will report to the CEO & President.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients.
  • Identify and locate new clients through networking, research, and outreach.
  • Develop and execute specific sales strategies for each potential OEM account.
  • Manage the entire sales process and ensure projects are developed and delivered on time and within budget.
  • Respond to RFQs, negotiate prices, terms of sales, and service agreements; prepare contracts and submit orders.
  • Collaborate with purchasing departments, managers, and other staff to ensure purchase orders are processed accurately and efficiently and that products are distributed properly.
  • Apply knowledge of product features to match products to client needs.
  • Answer inquiries from clients concerning products, applications, and industry trends.
  • Coordinate with key account teams to ensure information sharing and aligned sales strategies.
  • Communicate and coordinate sales forecasts, stock levels, purchase orders, and other account-related matters.
  • Perform other sales duties as assigned by the CEO & President.

Minimum Education, Experience, and Core Competency Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in automotive sales or account management.
  • Proficiency in German is required.
  • Knowledge or experience in injection molding or plastic manufacturing in the automotive industry.
  • Proven track record of managing sales activities to achieve revenue objectives.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adaptability to company culture and processes.
  • Strong problem-solving, team-building, and collaborative skills.
  • Ability to travel within North America and internationally on a limited basis.
