The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities to support the company's growth objectives. This position focuses on expanding the customer base, developing strategic customer relationships, and increasing revenue through new program acquisition. The role serves as the primary commercial contact for prospective customers and works closely with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are understood and successfully implemented.
The role supports long-term business growth through market development, customer engagement, quotation management, and strategic sales initiatives.
Your Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target industries and markets
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospective customers and key decision-makers
- Lead commercial discussions, RFQs, quotations, and contract negotiations
- Coordinate customer requirements and project launches with internal departments
- Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to support revenue growth
- Support annual sales planning, forecasting, and business development initiatives
- Represent the company during customer visits, trade shows, and industry events
- Support customer satisfaction and long-term account development initiatives
Your Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or related field preferred
- Experience in business development, sales, or account management within a manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Ability to develop strategic customer relationships and identify growth opportunities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
- Ability to travel as required
