Business Development Executive

Kattima Granites is a leading exporter in the granite industry, operating in three divisions - granite rough blocks, monuments, and slabs. We are hiring a driven business development professional to grow sales across all three divisions. This role works directly under our directors and is focused squarely on winning new customers: proactive outreach, enquiry handling, and converting leads into orders.

Responsibilities:

• ⁠ Actively prospect and reach out to potential international buyers via email, LinkedIn, calls, and industry platforms
• ⁠ ⁠Handle inbound enquiries end-to-end: qualify leads, prepare quotations, follow up, negotiate, and close
• ⁠ ⁠Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline across blocks, monuments, and slabs
• ⁠ ⁠Develop and grow relationships with new customers for repeat business
• ⁠ ⁠Maintain CRM/lead records and report pipeline progress directly to the directors
• ⁠ ⁠Support marketing efforts - trade fairs, buyer meetings, catalogues, and outreach campaigns
• ⁠ ⁠Coordinate with internal support teams for smooth quotation-to-shipment execution

Requirements:⁠ ⁠

• 3-10 years in B2B export sales or business development
• ⁠ ⁠Natural stone / Granite background preferred, but open to a hungry, sharp salesperson from any B2B industry
• ⁠ ⁠Strong written and spoken English - comfortable drafting professional emails and outreach to international buyers
• ⁠ ⁠Confident on calls and in negotiation; persistent with follow-ups
• ⁠ ⁠Familiarity with export trade basics (FOB terms, documentation) or ability to learn quickly
• ⁠ ⁠Self-starter with a hunter mentality - this role is about finding new business, not managing old accounts
• ⁠ ⁠Role is Chennai-based
• Compensation: Negotiable (fixed + commission-based), based on experience
