Business Development Manager

We're looking for an experienced Business Development Manager based in North America to help us strengthen existing relationships, identify new opportunities and expand QLOC's presence across the gaming industry.
Location:
This is a fully remote role open to candidates based in North America (United States or Canada).
Responsibilities
- building and maintaining long-term relationships with game developers, publishers, and industry partners across North America,
- identifying and developing new business opportunities aligned with QLOC's strategic goals,
- managing the full business development cycle, from initial outreach and qualification through proposal preparation, negotiation and closing,
- collaborating closely with production teams to develop tailored solutions that address client needs and business objectives,
- growing assigned accounts by identifying new opportunities and expanding existing partnerships,
- representing QLOC at client meetings,
- maintaining accurate sales pipelines, forecasts and client records within CRM system,
- monitoring market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities and strengthen QLOC's market position,
- supporting contract negotiations and commercial discussions with prospective and existing clients,
- delivering regular reporting and pipeline updates to the Business Development leadership team.
- 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or partner management within the video game industry,
- strong understanding of game development, publishing and external development services,
- existing network of contacts within the gaming industry,
- demonstrated ability to build trust-based relationships and develop new business opportunities,
- experience managing commercial negotiations and complex sales processes,
- excellent communication and presentation skills,
- strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously,
- self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working remotely,
- passion for games and the gaming industry,
- willingness to travel within North America for industry events and client meetings.
