In the US, OCL currently has offices in Los Angeles (HQ) and Savannah, with expansion plans to establish new branches in Chicago and Atlanta soon. Position Overview

One Circle Logistics (USA) Corp. is seeking motivated and results-driven Business Development Managers to drive new business development and expand our customer base. The ideal candidates will identify new opportunities, build strong client relationships, and promote the company’s logistics and supply chain solutions across air, ocean, customs brokerage, warehousing, and project logistics. This role requires strong communication skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to develop long-term partnerships with customers across multiple industries.



Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in freight forwarding, transportation, and supply chain solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects.
  • Conduct market research to identify new customers and industries.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Understand customer logistics needs and propose tailored solutions.
  • Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and follow-ups.

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals and quotations.

Coordination & Operations

  • Work closely with local, regional, and international operations staff to ensure customers’ needs and expectations are met, and ensure smooth execution of shipments.
  • Provide multiple logistics solutions for numerous entry points into accounts within our core competencies.
  • Monitor service performance and resolve customer issues when necessary.
  • Must be able to pivot and adapt to rapid and frequent changes addressing the needs of clients and goals of OCL.
  • Provide feedback from clients to improve service offerings.

Reporting & CRM

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and opportunities in CRM systems.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
  • 6+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or transportation sales (preferred but not mandatory for junior roles).

· Operational freight forwarding experience a big plus!

· Proven successful selling ability in a commission environment.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers and build long-term client relationships.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Must be a confident self-starter who can develop effective business relationships, both internally and externally.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking abilities, including experience with market research, opportunity evaluation, and sales forecasting.
  • Familiarity with international shipping, freight forwarding, or supply chain management is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
