Account Manager
Indexed description
Jereh Canada Corporation is seeking an Account Manager to help establish and expand our commercial presence across Canada’s data center and power generation markets.
This is a market-building role focused on opening doors, developing strategic relationships, and converting industry access into qualified commercial opportunities. The successful candidate will work with Canadian data center operators, utilities, government organizations, power generation companies, engineering firms, project developers, and other energy infrastructure stakeholders.
Direct sales experience is beneficial but is not the only path into this position. Candidates may also come from utility operations, engineering, project development, government, infrastructure, supply chain, or other industry-facing functions when they can demonstrate established market relationships and the ability to develop new business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities across Canada’s data center and power generation sectors.
- Use established relationships with utilities, government organizations, data center operators, power generation companies, engineering firms, and project developers to initiate commercial discussions.
- Build new customer and industry relationships that expand Jereh’s visibility and market access.
- Convert market knowledge and industry access into qualified pipelines, proposals, and closed business.
- Develop commercial strategies suited to Canada’s evolving data center market, including facilities commonly ranging from 1 to 10 MW.
- Represent Jereh during customer meetings, utility discussions, industry events, and government or regulatory engagements.
- Partner with Jereh’s product, engineering, project, and leadership teams to align customer requirements with equipment and solution offerings.
- Report pipeline activity, customer engagement, market intelligence, competitive activity, and commercial results to the Sales Director.
- Help establish Jereh’s long-term reputation and commercial presence within Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of the Canadian data center or power generation market and its key participants.
- Established relationships or market access involving utilities, government organizations, data center operators, power generation companies, engineering firms, or project developers.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and advance new business opportunities.
- Willingness to operate in a sales and business development-focused role, regardless of previous job title.
- Ability to work independently and develop a market with limited existing commercial infrastructure.
- Ability to represent Jereh credibly with executive-level customers and industry stakeholders.
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel extensively throughout Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in account management, business development, utility operations, engineering, project development, government, infrastructure planning, or energy-sector supply chain.
- Experience involving data center power infrastructure, distributed generation, power generation equipment, utility interconnections, or energy infrastructure projects.
- Understanding of the commercial, technical, and regulatory factors affecting Canadian data center and power generation projects.
- Experience developing business in an emerging or rapidly expanding market.
Leadership Expectations
The Account Manager will operate with a high degree of autonomy and will not initially have direct reports. This individual will take ownership of market development, customer relationships, pipeline growth, and commercial execution across Canada.
The successful candidate will help define how Jereh builds its reputation, customer relationships, and long-term commercial presence within Canada’s data center and power generation markets.
