Role Overview

We are hiring a Regional Sales Manager to grow our presence throughout Western New York. This is a field-based sales role focused on building relationships with dispensaries and retail partners, opening new accounts, increasing territory penetration, and growing revenue.

Success in this role comes from spending time in the market, developing strong customer relationships, identifying opportunities, and representing the company professionally. Early on, this position will involve significant prospecting and territory development. Over time, responsibilities will shift toward managing and expanding an established book of business.

This position is primarily remote and requires regular travel throughout Western New York.


Responsibilities

  • Grow sales and market presence throughout Western New York.
  • Build relationships with dispensary owners, buyers, store managers, and retail teams.
  • Develop new business opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships.
  • Conduct in-person customer visits, product presentations, and account reviews.
  • Identify new opportunities through market research, sales data, customer feedback, and industry trends.
  • Recommend products, promotions, and sales strategies based on customer needs and market performance.
  • Support in-store events, product demonstrations, pop-ups, and industry events.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with retail partners and provide market feedback to internal teams.
  • Manage account activity, customer follow-up, and sales orders using company systems and processes.
  • Work collaboratively across teams to support territory growth and customer success.
  • Meet or exceed sales and revenue goals.


Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience in sales, business development, account management, territory management, or a similar customer-facing role.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a territory with a high degree of ownership.
  • Comfortable spending substantial time in the field meeting with customers.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to follow-through.
  • Ability to identify opportunities, solve problems, and drive results.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM or sales management tools.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Western New York.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the cannabis industry.
  • Experience in alcohol, beverage, CPG, wholesale, distribution, or territory sales environments.
  • Experience developing new business and growing sales within a defined territory.
  • Experience working with retail customers and managing customer accounts.
  • Experience supporting promotional events, product demonstrations, or trade shows.
  • Existing industry relationships or an established book of business.
