LTT Partners | Bend, OR | Full-Time | In-Office
LTT Partners is a Pacific Northwest-based low-voltage technology contractor. We design, sell, and install technology systems for commercial real estate organizations, schools, municipalities, and growing businesses across multiple states.
Our solutions include security cameras, access control, connectivity, networking, visitor management, intercoms, and cloud-managed technology platforms. Our primary vendor partners include Verkada and Meter, two rapidly growing companies in business security and networking.
We are a growing company with a small, focused team. The right person for this role will be motivated, organized, coachable, and excited to build a career in B2B technology sales.
LTT Partners is looking for a Business Development Representative, BDR, to generate new business opportunities and support the growth of our sales pipeline.
This is a full-time, in-office position based in Bend, Oregon. You will be responsible for identifying potential clients, initiating conversations with decision-makers, qualifying opportunities, and scheduling meetings for the senior sales team.
You will learn how to research target accounts, communicate with business leaders, uncover operational challenges, qualify real opportunities, and create clean handoffs for Account Executives. You will also help manage inbound leads and ensure potential customers receive timely, professional follow-up.
This role is a strong fit for someone with prior sales experience who wants to develop into a larger B2B sales role over time.
Year-one success includes consistently generating qualified meetings and pipeline, maintaining clean CRM activity, demonstrating strong follow-through, developing a solid understanding of our markets and buyers, and earning the trust of the sales team.
- Research and prospect into target accounts across commercial real estate, education, municipalities, and other businesses throughout the Pacific Northwest.
- Identify relevant decision-makers within IT, facilities, operations, security, construction, and executive leadership.
- Reach out by phone, email, and LinkedIn to initiate conversations with potential clients.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads to determine whether there is a legitimate business opportunity.
- Schedule qualified discovery meetings for the senior sales team.
- Create clear handoff notes outlining the account, contact, business need, timeline, stakeholders, and next step.
- Maintain clean, accurate activity, contact, and pipeline records in HubSpot.
- Learn LTT Partners' products, services, vendor partners, buyer personas, and target markets.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams on outreach strategies, messaging, campaigns, target lists, and follow-up.
- Follow structured prospecting cadences while maintaining consistent and professional communication.
- Achieve weekly and monthly activity, qualified-meeting, and pipeline-generation goals.
- Write professional outreach emails, follow-up messages, and internal notes that reflect well on LTT Partners.
- Must currently live in or near Bend, Oregon.
- Must be able to work full-time in the office.
- Four or more years of prior sales experience.
- Strong interest in technology, business operations, physical security, networking, and connectivity solutions.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and initiating conversations with new prospects.
- Strong computer skills, including experience with Mac computers, email, spreadsheets, business software, and CRM systems.
- Professional writing ability for outreach, follow-up, CRM notes, and internal communication.
- Organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage outreach cadences, follow-ups, and daily activity expectations.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous business technology sales experience.
- Prior B2B sales, business development, prospecting, or customer-facing experience.
- Experience selling or supporting security, networking, audiovisual, telecommunications, SaaS, construction, or commercial technology solutions.
- Experience using HubSpot, Salesforce, or another CRM platform.
- Experience using Excel, Google Sheets, or similar spreadsheet tools.
- Familiarity with Verkada, Meter, Meraki, Ubiquiti, or similar technology platforms.
- Experience selling to commercial real estate organizations, schools, municipalities, property managers, IT leaders, facilities teams, security teams, or operations leaders.
- You are hungry to build a successful sales career.
- You communicate clearly, confidently, and professionally.
- You are not afraid to pick up the phone and initiate a conversation.
- You can handle rejection without losing momentum.
- You stay organized with follow-up, notes, commitments, and next steps.
- You are curious about technology and willing to learn.
- You consistently do the work, even when no one is watching.
- You want visibility into the full sales cycle and a path toward greater responsibility.
- You are motivated by measurable goals and take ownership of your results.
Many business development roles provide only a narrow view of the sales process. At LTT Partners, you will work closely with senior sales leaders, learn how real B2B opportunities are created, and see how opportunities progress from the first conversation through design, sale, installation, and long-term customer support.
This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in B2B technology sales within a growing company where initiative, consistency, and strong performance are noticed.
LTT Partners is an equal opportunity employer.
