Overview:

The company are a multi-disciplined engineering and inspection consulting firm with 45+ years serving Heavy Manufacturing, Steel, Metals, Utilities, Power Generation, Mining, and Government clients across North America. They are looking for an experienced Manager of Business Development to drive growth across the Midwest and broader North American industrial markets.

This is a hunter role for someone who knows how to open doors in industrial environments — whether you're coming from technical sales, industrial services, or you're an engineer who's ready to move into a client-facing growth role.

What you'll do:

• Identify and pursue new business across Heavy Manufacturing, Utilities, Metals, Mining, Government, and Industrial sectors
• Build relationships with plant managers, engineering leaders, maintenance teams, and executive decision-makers
• Develop proposals, capability statements, and client presentations
• Represent Globex at trade shows, conferences, and industry events
• Partner with our engineering and inspection teams to ensure client success from pitch to delivery

What you bring:

• 5+ years in business development, technical sales, account management, or industrial consulting
• Background in engineering, inspection, industrial services, manufacturing, or construction
• Established relationships within steel, metals, utilities, or industrial markets (a strong plus)
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
• Willingness to travel for client meetings, site visits, and industry events
