Business Development Lead

We are partnering with our client to appoint a Business Development Lead to drive growth and expand market presence within the Boston area. This individual will identify and develop new business opportunities, manage customer relationships, and support commercial efforts across a portfolio of molecular biology reagents, custom research products, gene-detection assays, and DNA sample-collection technologies. Working closely with internal stakeholders, the successful candidate will help generate leads, support sales initiatives, and contribute to long-term revenue growth and business development strategy.

- Business Development Expertise - Lead the full business development lifecycle, from prospecting and market mapping through to opportunity qualification and closing, ensuring a strong and scalable pipeline of new business.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and updating technical and sales materials (brochures, datasheets, presentations, and web content) in coordination with R&D and Marketing
- Develop and maintain business leads through outbound outreach, inbound inquiries, trade shows, and scientific conferences
- Conduct field visits and virtual meetings with prospective and existing customers to support business development
- Log sales activity, opportunities, and forecasts in the CRM system, and prepare periodic reports for management
Experience
0-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related role; recent graduates are encouraged to apply
