Key Responsibilities
New Business Growth
- Identify and pursue new dealer accounts, builder partnerships, and commercial project opportunities.
- Conduct outbound prospecting, networking, and follow up to build a strong sales pipeline.
- Present product lines, finishes, pricing programs, and value propositions to potential clients.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, quotes, and presentations tailored to customer needs.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing dealers, contractors, designers, and builders.
- Provide ongoing support for product questions, pricing, lead times, and order status.
- Conduct regular check ins to identify upselling opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Resolve issues quickly by coordinating with CSR, Production, QC, and Installation teams.
- Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and pricing strategies within the cabinetry industry.
- Identify gaps in the market and recommend new product opportunities or sales strategies.
- Gather customer feedback to support product development and operational improvements.
- Work closely with design, CSR, and production teams to ensure accurate quotes and smooth order flow.
- Review drawings, layouts, and specifications to confirm feasibility and pricing accuracy.
- Track project timelines and communicate updates to customers and internal teams.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline updates, and activity logs.
- Track KPIs such as new accounts opened, revenue growth, quote to order conversion, and retention.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports for leadership.
- 2–4 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management (cabinetry, construction, or building materials preferred).
- Strong understanding of cabinetry products, installation basics, and manufacturing lead times.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to read cabinet drawings, layouts, and basic measurements.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to travel to client sites as needed.
- Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Mandarin is a strong plus for diverse workforce and customer base.
- Mix office, showroom, and on-site customer visits.
- Occasional presence on the production floor to understand product capabilities and limitations.
