Business Development Representative

ROLE OVERVIEW:

An exciting position has arisen for a Business Development Representative (Chinese Speaking) for the German Market to join a leading biotechnology company with hubs across Germany and an international presence. As the Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for driving growth and expanding the company's presence in the German market.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Business Development Representative (BDR) will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Master the science and business skills in the fields of immuno-oncology, animal model gene engineering, and preclinical pharmacology.

2. Actively reach out to prospective customers, explore business opportunities, manage negotiations, and secure contracts.

3. Attend trade shows and relevant conferences to network and promote the company's offerings.

4. Support the Marketing Team in branding and building awareness in the marketplace.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the BDR, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in bioscience, preferably a PhD.

2. Proven industry experience in biopharmaceutical science and business (a strong scientific / research background with a willingness to move in to more of a commercial role is as attractive as prior Business Development experience.)

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with networking and engaging with top scientists from biotech and biopharma companies.

4. Willingness to travel (candidate must be based in Germany.)
