About The Role
IBM is seeking a Brand Sales Specialist to support the sale of enterprise Automation, Integration, and Infrastructure solutions across assigned accounts.
This role is responsible for creating demand, progressing sales opportunities through to closure, and supporting clients in achieving technology outcomes, primarily through collaboration with ecosystem and channel partners.
The role will involve engaging with partners and clients on automation-led transformation initiatives, focusing on improving business processes, integration, and operational efficiency outcomes.
Minimum guaranteed hours: 37.5 hours/week
Minimum guaranteed annual salary: between $80,500 to $140,000
Annual commissions based achievement of sales targets: between $0 to $115,000
Your Role And Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Compiling lists of prospective client businesses using trade directories and other sources – Identify opportunities including through partner-led pipeline creation
- Acquiring and updating knowledge of employer's and competitors' goods and services, and market conditions – Maintain knowledge including partner capabilities
- Visiting regular and prospective client businesses – Engage clients and ecosystem partners
- Assessing customers' needs – Support discovery with partner teams
- Promoting ICT goods and services – Position joint value propositions with partners
- Quoting and negotiating – Support deal progression with partner stakeholders
- Arranging delivery – Coordinate with partners and internal teams
- Reporting to sales management – Maintain partner-influenced pipeline visibility
- Following up with clients – Support adoption with partners
- Preparing sales reports – Maintain documentation
- Contribute to achieving sales targets
- Progress opportunities including partner-led engagements
- Participate in joint client engagement with partners
- Contribute to partner-influenced pipeline
- Support client adoption and value realisation
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
Required Qualifications and Experience
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
At least 5 years of relevant work experience in enterprise technology or ICT sales, including experience contributing to multi-solution sales opportunities
Familiarity with enterprise automation, integration, or infrastructure solutions
Experience working with channel partners, system integrators, or ecosystem sales models, including supporting partner-led or co-sell engagements
Experience engaging business and technical stakeholders across client and partner environments
Experience in pipeline management, forecasting, and structured sales processes
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
