About Dablam
Dablam is an AI-native reputation intelligence firm. We help corporations build competitive advantage through reputation, shaping how they're understood in an information environment increasingly mediated by AI and large language models. We surface information that is true and under-represented, and make sure it reaches the right audiences, in the right context, at the right time.
Reputation has become a commercial asset. What an LLM says about a company now shapes how customers, investors, regulators, and partners make decisions. We give corporate clients a measurable edge in that environment: stronger, more accurate representation where it matters, and early sight of the reputational risks that don't yet show up anywhere else. Our advantage is proprietary technology that most firms can't replicate, and it's why we're trusted by global enterprises in regulated sectors and major law firms.
We are profitable, founder-funded, and growing more than 300 percent year-on-year, with no outside capital. We are scaling a business that already works, in a category we are helping to define.
Why This Role, Why Now
We're building out our US team, and this role is central to how we grow in our most important market. You'll drive the outbound effort that brings new corporate clients into the business, working alongside a US Managing Director who will lead the market and support your development.
Reputation management is being rewritten by AI right now. The corporates who need this most are only just waking up to how much LLMs shape the narrative around them. You'll be selling into that shift as it happens, at a company that's already ahead of it.
Because we're early and growing fast, your role will evolve quickly. You'll start as Business Development Manager and, through mentoring from the US Managing Director and CEO and by mastering the full outbound and closing cycle, have a clear path to more senior business development roles as the US team scales.
What You'll Do
This is a high-volume outbound role. You'll spend your days on the phone and in inboxes, generating pipeline and opening doors with corporate prospects:
- Cold calling and personalised outbound to corporate decision-makers, consistently and at volume
- Following up on marketing-qualified corporate leads through targeted calls and email
- Holding initial calls to understand each prospect's reputation challenges and capture context
- Booking and supporting scoping meetings, and working with the US Managing Director and CEO on proposals
- Progressing toward closing new corporate clients and partnerships yourself as you learn the full cycle
- Feeding what you learn back into the playbook: scripts, templates, and outreach copy, so the engine keeps getting sharper
What We're Looking For
This role suits someone who thrives on outbound volume and wants to grow into full-cycle sales.
You'll need:
- Authorization to work in the US- this is a requirement, and we are unable to sponsor visas for this role
- 3+ years of BDR/SDR or comparable outbound sales experience, ideally in a B2B or consultative setting
- Proven cold-calling ability and comfort holding high-volume phone conversations with senior decision-makers
- Strong written outbound skills- you can craft personalised, effective email at scale
- Hands-on experience with a CRM (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce) to manage pipeline and track activity
- Resilience, self-motivation, and coachability- you take feedback well and keep improving
- A genuine interest in AI, reputation, and how the two intersect is a strong plus
Location & Eligibility
Based in New York. This role is on-site in our NYC office two days per week. Fully remote candidates may be considered, but must be based in New York State.
Work authorization required. You must already be authorized to work in the United States. We are not able to sponsor or transfer visas for this position.
Compensation & What We Offer
- Competitive base salary, benchmarked to experience
- Equity: an equity stake, so you share in the upside you help create
- Commission: uncapped commission on new-client revenue you originate and help close
- Health insurance — comprehensive medical coverage
- Dental and vision insurance
- 401(k) with company matching
- Generous paid time off, plus additional days for the holidays and for volunteering
- Professional development budget to spend on your growth
- Coworking membership so you can work from an office in the city when you want to (flexible, not required)
What You'll Gain
This is a front-row seat to AI-enabled growth and a fast-moving category. You'll build deep expertise in:
- High-performance outbound sales in a technical, consultative category
- AI-driven reputation management, including gen-AI content and agentic AI advocacy
- AEO/GEO and crisis communications strategy across platforms
- Strategic partnership building across legal, advisory, and communications
It positions you for senior sales or consulting leadership, and in the near term, to grow with a US team in its earliest days.
