International Key Account Manager
Indexed description
Our client is an internationally recognised Swiss manufacturer specialising in high-precision components for the global MedTech industry. The company manufactures complex implantable components for highly regulated applications across cardiovascular, orthopaedics, spine, dental and audiology.
We are searching for an experienced International Key Account Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of strategic international accounts while identifying opportunities for further growth. The role combines strategic account management with technical project leadership. You'll work alongside Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams to support customers from initial opportunity through quotation, industrialisation and serial production.
Your customers will include some of the world's most recognised Medical Device manufacturers and Contract Manufacturing Organisations, where you'll build long-term partnerships rather than simply manage transactional sales. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys complex technical sales within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop a portfolio of strategic MedTech OEM and CMO customers.
- Grow existing accounts whilst identifying new business opportunities.
- Build relationships across Engineering, Purchasing, Quality, Supply Chain and Executive Management.
- Coordinate technical and commercial projects with internal manufacturing teams.
- Prepare commercial proposals and negotiate long-term agreements.
- Support customers from concept through to production.
- Attend customer meetings, industry conferences and international exhibitions.
- Contribute to commercial strategy and market development.
What We're Looking For:
- We're searching for someone who already understands the Medical Device manufacturing environment and can quickly establish credibility with both customers and internal engineering teams.
You'll ideally bring:
- Experience within Medical Devices, ideally Class II or III.
- Experience selling to Medical Device OEMs and/or Contract Manufacturing Organisations.
- Experience managing complex industrial projects.
- Excellent commercial and relationship management skills.
- Fluency in French and English.
