Business Development Manager

We're exclusively partnering with a fast-growing European energy technology business that's transforming how consumers buy and optimise electricity. Having already established a strong presence across multiple European markets, the business is now launching in Denmark and is looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to play a key role in that journey.

This is a unique opportunity to help shape the company's commercial strategy in Denmark, build strategic partnerships and drive market growth from the ground up.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and execute the commercial growth strategy for the Danish market.
• Build partnerships across the residential energy ecosystem, including utilities, solar, battery storage, EV charging and heat pump providers.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities with key industry partners.
• Represent the business at industry events and build a strong network within the Danish energy market.
• Work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to help establish the company's presence in Denmark.

What we're looking for

• 3–6 years' business development, partnerships or commercial experience within the Danish energy sector.
• Existing network across utilities, energy retailers, renewable energy, solar, batteries, EV charging or home energy management.
• Proven experience developing strategic partnerships and driving commercial growth.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced scale-up environment.
• Native or fluent Danish with strong English communication skills.
