Job Overview
Are you a data-driven problem solver who thrives at the intersection of business and technology? Join our Corporate Strategy team and help shape how we acquire, integrate, and leverage data to drive strategic outcomes.
As a Business Analyst – Data, you’ll work closely with business stakeholders, Data & IT teams, and external partners to gather requirements, analyze data sources, and translate business needs into clear technical specifications.
Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to understand the business use cases
- Translate business needs into data requirements and technical specifications for data engineers.
- Analyze source system APIs and data to guide ingestion and transformation.
- Define data mapping, lineage, transformation, and data quality rules required to bridge the gap between source and the target
- Create clear data flow and process diagrams for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support development of scalable, reliable data pipelines for analytics and AI.
- Promote data integrity, quality, and governance.
- Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to stakeholders and leadership
- Recommend tools, products and services that support enterprise data goals.
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years’ experience as a business or data analyst in a data migration or data warehouse role
- Strong knowledge of P&C insurance domain especially claims and policy administration systems (Guidewire experience is a plus).
- Familiarity with the Investments domain is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with AWS (S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, Lambda), SQL, and BI tools (MicroStrategy a plus), and data platforms like Teradata or Snowflake.
- Proficiency with Agile, Jira, Confluence, Lucid/Visio, and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

- Paid Vacation – you will receive at least 13 vacation days in the first 12 months, amounts could be greater depending on the role. While able to use prior to accrual, vacation time will accrue monthly.
