In this role, you will partner with Product, Engineering, Risk, and Operations teams to identify opportunities, build scalable solutions, drive automation adoption, and deliver measurable business impact. You will lead high-visibility initiatives, investigate complex operational challenges, influence technical roadmaps, and ensure automation systems continue to operate effectively as the business scales. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, technical aptitude, ownership, and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Key job responsibilities
- Partner with Product Managers, Software Engineers, Application Engineers, and Risk teams to define requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and operational scalability through automation and AI-enabled solutions.
- Use data and metrics to identify trends, evaluate business performance, and prioritize investments.
- Lead deep dives into operational issues, quality defects, and high-severity escalations, driving root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Monitor automation performance, adoption, accuracy, and business impact through scalable reporting mechanisms.
- Build business cases, define success metrics, and measure realized benefits including productivity gains, quality improvements, and operational leverage.
- Translate business requirements into actionable technical requirements and work closely with engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Drive end-to-end execution of automation and process improvement programs supporting Books Risk Management workflows.
- Communicate program updates, risks, and recommendations to senior leaders and stakeholders across multiple organizations.
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and automation opportunities to improve risk detection, operational efficiency, and customer outcomes.
You may start your day reviewing operational metrics and automation performance, investigating a production issue impacting a critical workflow, partnering with engineers on a new automation launch, conducting a deep dive into quality trends, or presenting program updates to senior leaders. You will regularly work across business, product, and technical teams to solve complex problems, prioritize opportunities, and deliver scalable solutions that create measurable business impact.
About The Team
The BRM Automation team is responsible for driving automation, AI adoption, and process transformation across Books Risk Management. Our mission is to improve operational efficiency, strengthen risk controls, and protect customer trust by building scalable solutions that reduce manual effort, improve decision quality, and enable the organization to scale effectively. We operate at the intersection of business, risk, and technology, partnering closely with engineering and product teams to solve some of the most complex challenges in the Books ecosystem.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
