Job Summary
As a Business Analyst in the IT-IS Strategy and Planning team, you will drive business analysis and solution delivery activities across HR technology and related digital initiatives. Working closely with HR, IT, and external partners, you will translate business needs into clear requirements, improve end-to-end processes, and support the implementation of scalable solutions, particularly in areas such as Workday, Time & Absence Management, and learning management.
Your responsibilities
Requirements & Solution Design
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements across HR, IT, and other business functions.
- Translate requirements into user stories, process flows, functional specifications, and solution recommendations.
- Analyze HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, time & absence, and learning management to identify improvement opportunities.
- Conduct gap and impact analyses and support solution design for enhancements in Workday and related systems.
- Support project delivery through scope clarification, prioritization, testing, UAT, and implementation support.
- Work with technical and delivery teams to ensure requirements are understood, traceable, and implemented effectively.
- Contribute to change impact assessment, business readiness, and transition activities to support adoption.
- Act as the interface between business stakeholders, HR teams, IT teams, and external partners.
- Facilitate workshops, requirement discussions, and decision-making sessions to align scope, priorities, and expected outcomes.
- Manage stakeholder communication and support timely resolution of issues and decisions during delivery.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and improve HR and related business processes.
- Support continuous improvement through process analysis, documentation, and practical recommendations.
- Ensure work is delivered in line with governance, documentation standards, and BA best practices.
- 5–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT, digital transformation, or enterprise application environments.
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, process modeling, stakeholder management, and solution documentation.
- Good understanding of HR processes and HR technology, ideally including onboarding, offboarding, time & absence, learning management, or broader employee lifecycle processes.
- Experience with Workday and/or other HR systems is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Familiarity with BABOK best practices and structured business analysis techniques is preferred; CBAP certification is a plus.
- Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and across cross-functional teams.
