Application System Analyst II - Converge Revenue Cycle

Are you passionate about leveraging technology to improve business operations and user experiences?

We are seeking an experienced Application Systems Analyst II to act as a key link between end users, business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party partners. In this role, you will analyze requirements, design and optimize system solutions, support application performance, and drive process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and service quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, test, document, implement, maintain, and optimize assigned applications, workflows, and business processes.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver medium to high-complexity projects and system enhancements.
  • Gather, document, and evaluate business requirements, perform gap analyses, and recommend effective solutions.
  • Support application configuration, troubleshooting, and issue resolution while ensuring adherence to change management standards.
  • Provide project coordination, status reporting, and stakeholder communication throughout project lifecycles.
  • Identify opportunities to improve system usability, efficiency, and overall user experience.
  • Collaborate with operational and technical teams to resolve application and infrastructure-related issues.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with users, business partners, and leadership teams.
  • Evaluate new application releases and functionality, recommending enhancements where appropriate.
  • Create and maintain clear documentation, training materials, and user communications.
  • Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge, best practices, and technical expertise.
  • Escalate issues when required and ensure service commitments and project objectives are met.
  • Participate in user training sessions and ongoing professional development activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support organizational goals through high-quality service delivery.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business and system requirements.
  • Ability to present complex information through reports, dashboards, charts, and presentations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related productivity tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Adaptability and willingness to embrace change and continuous learning.
  • Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in application support, business systems analysis, or information systems.
  • At least 2 years of experience within healthcare, business operations, or technology-focused environments preferred.
  • Experience supporting system implementations, enhancements, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Ability to independently resolve moderate-level incidents and support requests.
  • Experience collaborating with senior team members on solution design and process improvements.
  • Demonstrated capability to mentor and support less experienced team members.

Certifications

  • Relevant industry or application-specific certifications are preferred.
  • Any required platform-specific certifications should be obtained within designated timelines and maintained through ongoing training and recertification requirements
