Technical Business Analyst

We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to keep front-office trading platforms stable, supported and improving. You will partner with business users, engineers and vendors to troubleshoot complex issues, translate needs into technical requirements and drive platform changes across market connectivity, reporting and monitoring automation.
Responsibilities
- Support vendor-managed trading platforms through incident triage, troubleshooting and coordinated resolution
- Gather and analyze business and technical requirements with front-office stakeholders while acting as a third line escalation point for complex issues
- Support technical and security upgrades alongside regulatory, risk, and trade-reporting initiatives
- Work closely with application SMEs, developers, test teams, and business users to investigate defects, support testing, and validate solutions
- Drive non-functional testing and develop automated UI/API monitoring to ensure application readiness and operational visibility during platform changes
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Technical Business Analyst, Application Support, Production Support, or similar role within financial services
- Experience working in investment banking environments, particularly within front-office technology, trading platforms, market systems, or exchange-related applications
- Hands-on Python and shell scripting experience in UNIX/Linux environments for automation and operational support
- Understanding of trading workflows, market connectivity , and exchange-related processes
- Strong knowledge of data management and integrity controls, with experience supporting regulatory, risk, and compliance technology initiatives
- Fluent English and business-level Japanese (N2+)
Nice to have
- Financial Infrastructure Delivery: Experience delivering high-performance, low-latency infrastructure and co location buildouts within global banking, investment banking, or financial market environments
- Trading Systems & Operations: Strong understanding of electronic trading platforms, exchange connectivity, market data, and the associated security, risk, and resilience requirements
