Those partnerships with key suppliers like Bosch, Garrett, Federal Mogul, Cummins, Stanadyne, Holset, BorgWarner, Delphi, Yanmar, Mitsubishi, Denso and others have been critical in honing our remanufacturing capabilities and expanding our parts offering to include new, no core options in fuel injectors and fuel pumps, diesel engine cylinder heads, blocks, crankshafts and connecting rods. M&D also stocks a complete assortment of turbos (new and remanufactured), inframe overhaul kits, filtration and aftertreatment parts including DPFs, DOCs, EGRs, sensors and other engine parts.

Position Summary
The Senior Pricing Analyst is responsible for supporting M&D’s pricing strategy and analytics initiatives through data-driven analysis, competitive benchmarking, and pricing optimization. This role will partner closely with the Director of Pricing & Analytics to improve pricing effectiveness, profitability, and operational efficiency across the organization.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with commercial business understanding and a desire to grow into a larger strategic leadership role over time.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Analyze pricing performance, margin trends, and customer profitability across products, channels, and customer segments.
- Support development and execution of pricing strategies designed to improve margin, competitiveness, reinforce brand positioning and customer value.
- Conduct competitive pricing analysis and market benchmarking across aftermarket parts categories.
- Build and maintain pricing models, dashboards, and reporting tools to support decision-making.
- Identify pricing inconsistencies, margin leakage, and opportunities for optimization.
- Partner with Sales, Ecommerce, Product, and Operations teams to support pricing initiatives and resolve pricing-related issues.
- Assist in development and automation of pricing workflows, reporting, and processes.
- Support implementation and maintenance of pricing tools, systems, and data infrastructure.
- Perform deep-dive analyses into pricing trends, customer behavior, and product performance.
- Prepare reports and presentations for leadership to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across pricing systems and reporting.
- Stay current on market conditions, competitor activity, and industry pricing trends.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or related field preferred.
- 3–5+ years of experience in pricing, analytics, finance, or commercial strategy roles.
- Experience in distribution, aftermarket parts, industrial, or ecommerce environments preferred.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with ability to work with large datasets and complex pricing models.
- Experience with pricing analysis, margin optimization, and profitability reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with SQL and BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.) preferred.
- Experience with pricing process improvement or automation initiatives is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated leadership potential and desire to grow into broader strategic responsibilities.
- Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screening.
