Product Operations Program Manager

The Product Data & Lifecycle Operations Analyst is responsible for the creation, maintenance, governance, and accuracy of product master data throughout the product lifecycle. This role manages SKU and Feature ID creation, product data standards, lifecycle transitions, change requests, and product information systems, ensuring data integrity across business systems including Pulsar, SAP, and related platforms. The position partners with Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations teams to support product introductions, lifecycle management, and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities

Product Data Management

• Create, maintain, and govern product master data, including SKUs, Feature IDs (FIDs), descriptions, warranty codes, and serial number attributes.
• Define and maintain product naming standards, taxonomy structures, and data governance requirements.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across Pulsar, SAP, and related enterprise systems.
• Conduct product data analysis and validation activities to support system integrations and data quality initiatives.

• Support New Product Introduction (NPI), End-of-Sale (EOS), and End-of-Life (EOL) processes.
• Manage product lifecycle records and related system updates.
• Coordinate product transition activities and ensure timely communication of lifecycle changes.
• Support operational readiness activities for product launches and discontinuations.

• Administer product-related activities within the Pulsar platform.
• Define and document business rules for SKU and Feature ID creation.
• Support compatibility setup, product recommendations, and product categorization within Pulsar.
• Train and educate stakeholders on Pulsar processes, standards, and system functionality.

• Review, validate, and process Data Change Requests (DCRs).
• Manage updates to product descriptions, warranty information, serial number attributes, and related product records.
• Ensure change requests comply with established business rules and governance processes.

• Partner with Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Product Data Management teams to resolve product data issues.
• Support alignment between business processes and product information systems.
• Drive consistency in product information across functions and systems.

• Monitor product data quality metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support audits, compliance requirements, and documentation activities.
• Recommend process enhancements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
