Senior ERP Business Systems Analyst

Position Overview

A growing Midwest-based manufacturing organization is seeking a Senior ERP Business Systems Analyst to support the ongoing evolution of a complex enterprise applications environment. This individual will serve as a key link between operational business units and technology teams, helping drive process improvements, optimize enterprise systems, support testing initiatives, and enhance reporting capabilities across the organization.

The role is highly visible and will play a significant part in a large-scale business systems modernization effort. The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis skills with ERP expertise and a passion for solving operational challenges through technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders across operations, finance, supply chain, customer service, and other departments to gather, document, and refine business requirements.
• Analyze current-state processes and identify opportunities for workflow optimization, automation, and system enhancements.
• Create functional specifications, process documentation, data flow diagrams, and testing plans.
• Support ongoing ERP enhancement projects, configuration efforts, and production support activities.
• Coordinate and execute functional testing, user acceptance testing, defect resolution, and deployment validation.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, operational reporting solutions, and business intelligence metrics.
• Assist with end-user training, system adoption initiatives, and change management activities.
• Investigate application issues, troubleshoot process gaps, and collaborate with technical teams on resolution strategies.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, quality, and system effectiveness.
• Provide post-deployment support during major project milestones and system releases.

Required Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise ERP platforms within a complex business environment.
• Strong business analysis skills including requirements gathering, process mapping, workshop facilitation, documentation, and testing coordination.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate operational needs into technical solutions.
• Hands-on experience with reporting, analytics, dashboard development, data validation, and KPI measurement.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder relationship management skills.
• Experience supporting enterprise application enhancements and ongoing production support activities.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting ERP implementations, upgrades, or business transformation programs.
• Exposure to manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, production, or quality management environments.
• Knowledge of business intelligence platforms and enterprise reporting tools.
• Experience supporting integrations, workflow automation, or third-party business applications.
• Familiarity with Agile project delivery methodologies and structured testing processes.
• Experience with low-code automation, workflow platforms, or application development tools.

Technical Environment
