Business Analyst with Scrum

About the Role

At HCLTech, we are looking for a Business Analyst & Scrum Master to act as the key link between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams. In this role, you will help define, prioritize, and deliver business solutions while supporting Agile ways of working and driving continuous improvement across the team.

Responsibilities

Business Analysis (60%)

Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.

Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items.

Facilitate workshops, process analysis, solution validation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and delivery teams.

Support requirements management and ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.

Scrum Master (40%)

Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

Manage team delivery activities using Azure DevOps.

Identify and remove impediments while managing risks and dependencies.

Track delivery progress and key metrics.

Promote Agile best practices and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Coach team members on Scrum, SAFe, and Agile principles.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.

Minimum 7 years of experience in Business Analysis, Agile delivery, software development lifecycle, or enterprise solution delivery.

At least 3 years of combined experience as a Business Analyst and Scrum Master.

Strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and stakeholder management.

Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and requirements documentation.

Familiarity with SAFe frameworks is considered an advantage.

Exposure to AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or Gemini is a plus.

Relevant certifications such as CBAP, CSM, PSM, or SAFe are advantageous.
