IT Business Analyst (Insurance sector)

As an IT Business Analyst, you will play a key role in bridging business needs and technology solutions within the insurance domain. You will work closely with our client's cross‑functional teams to ensure software products and applications meet defined business, technical, and quality standards. This role combines business analysis, documentation, and hands‑on testing activities in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare, maintain, and update technical documentation for software products, modules, and functionalities.
• Support project documentation activities and actively participate in cross‑functional teams.
• Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications for IT implementation.
• Test software programs and application modules to ensure they meet design and business specifications.
• Participate in the execution and documentation of functional, integration, and performance tests.
• Support testing activities to ensure applications and technical environments meet defined performance and quality requirements.
• Assist in the integration of technical and application components to meet business needs.
• Follow defined development methodologies, processes, and documentation standards.
• Collaborate closely with developers, testers, and business stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.

What We’re Looking For

• Understanding of the insurance business domain is an advantage
• Experience in business analysis activities, particularly in understanding and documenting IT functionalities.
• Knowledge in insurance or banking ERP is a plus.
• Experience with SQL concepts and queries.
• Ability to clearly document and explain system requirements and issues.
• High level of organization and attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Intermediate English language skills.

Note: this is an office-based role, with occasional work from home options.
