About the Role
The Business Applications Functional Analyst is responsible for ensuring that business applications meet the strategic objectives and operational requirements of the organization, translating business needs into functional specifications and ensuring the successful implementation of software solutions
Key Responsibilities
- Support EU ERP Rollout: Support ERP project promotion and deployment across European sites, master business knowledge and system functions in at least one business domain, and coordinate with business project managers to oversee project implementation
- ERP Continuous Improvement: Be responsible for ERP system operation and maintenance after project go-live, and drive continuous improvement of business processes and system functions
- Business Requirement Management: Analyze and optimize business processes; collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate requirements; translate business needs into clear functional specifications for development teams
- Solution Delivery: Coordinate with Group IT development teams to implement solutions, and conduct testing to ensure solutions meet specified requirements
- Documentation Management: Create and maintain complete project documentation, including functional design documents, process flowcharts, and user manuals
- User Adoption Support: Provide end-user training and support to ensure successful application adoption
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Computer Science, Business, Information Technology or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar role, with knowledge of ERP systems, database systems, and data analysis
- Strong functional ERP knowledge, preferably in SAP SD (Sales & Distribution), Oracle ERP or Microsoft Dynamics. Experience with other ERP solutions will also be considered
- Hands-on experience in ERP implementation and rollout projects
- Deep understanding of ERP business processes, particularly within the Sales domain
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions
- Strong stakeholder management and excellent communication skills combined with a deep understanding of both business operations and information technology
- Analytical, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced international environment
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Availability to travel occasionally within Europe (approximately 30%)
Nice to Have
- Chinese language skills are highly desirable. Additional European languages, besides English and Spanish, will be considered a valuable asset
- Experience with CRM implementation, maintenance or support is considered an advantage
- Previous experience supporting Sales business processes is highly preferred
- Knowledge of analytical tools such as SQL or Tableau is a plus
