Job Description And Duties

Under the general direction of the Bureau of Firearms (BOF) Supervisor (Sup) I, the Analyst (An I) provides analytical and technical support on a variety of duties related to the Disposition Resolution Team (DRT) and the Firearms Records Review (FRR) Team, including acting as the technical expert and point-of-contact for Direct Access implementation into the Bureau. The An I will develop, update, maintain, and implement business processing procedures and technical documentation related to Direct Access and the DRT and FRR review process. Acts as the subject-matter generalist; demonstrating the knowledge and ability to work in multiple firearm disciplines when needed to ensure timely work processes, including providing training to new and current employees. Must be able to work independently and demonstrate discretion and flexibility.

This is a 12-month limited term position, however, it may be extended and/or become permanent.
