As a Business Analyst at Playstudios, you will play a critical role in analyzing and interpreting data to drive business decisions and improve game performance. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Marketing, and Design, you will help identify opportunities, solve challenges, and optimize both player experiences and company performance. In this role, you will also work closely with Game Economy and LiveOps teams, helping shape in-game strategies, optimize performance, and support ongoing business and player experience improvements.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Analyzing complex data sets representing the behavior of online and mobile game players to address strategic and operational business questions
- Providing actionable recommendations and conclusions from game data to shape features, game economies, and future product roadmaps
- Working closely with internal departments to drive insights that will help produce better games and that will drive monetization and retention improvements
- Building automated dashboards and reports to facilitate company-wide awareness and understanding of key business metrics and players’ experiences
- Managing multiple projects at a time in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau) and experience working with large datasets to inform decisions - must.
- High level of analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Great communication skills - someone who can turn complex concepts into actionable recommendations
- A true passion for understanding consumers’ social gaming behavior and tolerance for ambiguity.
- BA/B.Sc. in Statistics/Math/Engineering/Economics or another quantitative field.
