AI Business Partner - P&C and Finance

We're partnering with a leading mining organisation to engage an experienced AI Business Partner to help identify and deliver practical AI opportunities across Human Resources, People & Culture and Finance.

This role will work directly with functional leaders to understand how work gets done today, identify opportunities for automation and productivity improvement, and help shape the implementation of AI-enabled solutions.

We're seeking someone with strong HR/P&C and Finance domain knowledge who can connect business challenges with emerging AI capabilities and identify where technology can create measurable value.

What You'll Be Doing

• Partner with HR, People & Culture and Finance stakeholders to identify AI and automation opportunities
• Review business processes and workflows to uncover efficiency and productivity gains
• Evaluate where Generative AI, Copilot and automation tools can improve business outcomes
• Develop use cases, recommendations and prioritised opportunities
• Translate business requirements into solution concepts for technology teams
• Work with digital and technology teams to support the implementation of AI initiatives
• Act as a trusted advisor on the practical application of AI within corporate functions
• Stay abreast of emerging AI capabilities and identify opportunities for adoption across the business
• Track and communicate business value generated through AI initiatives

About You

You'll bring a combination of functional expertise and technology awareness, with the ability to identify opportunities and influence business stakeholders

You'll have:

• Strong domain knowledge within Human Resources, People & Culture and/or Finance environments
• Experience improving business processes, workflows or operating efficiency
• An understanding of AI, Generative AI, Microsoft Copilot and automation technologies
• The ability to identify high-value business use cases and translate them into practical solutions
• Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills
• Experience working across both business and technology teams
• Commercial acumen and a focus on measurable outcomes

Highly Regarded

• Experience within mining, resources or large enterprise environments
• HRIS, ERP, shared services or business systems experience
• Exposure to AI, automation or digital innovation initiatives
• Background in consulting, program management, product management, business improvement or technology business partnering
