We have multiple 12-month opportunities available in our Business Analysis Chapter to support initiatives across HBF. As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll partner closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and technical team members to capture clear requirements, support solution design, and enable effective delivery across priority business initiatives. Opportunities include:

Enabling Technology Projects: Enabling Technology delivers strategic initiatives that strengthen HBF's technology foundations, improve business processes, and build future capability. This includes technology modernisation, enterprise platforms, operational improvements, data and analytics, automation, AI-enabled solutions, and digital transformations.

Data Strategy Program: In the Data Strategy Program, you'll help bring clarity to complex data assets, platforms, governance requirements, and analytics use cases to support high-quality delivery.

Where you'll contribute
You'll act as the key translator between business and technical teams, helping make complex concepts clear and actionable. You will also:

• Manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced and evolving environment
• Engage with senior stakeholders to understand current pain points and future business needs
• Capture business requirements as user stories and acceptance criteria that meet HBF standards and agreed timeframes
• Work with technical teams to clarify requirements, support solution design, and assist with defect analysis
• Document current and future state business processes

Let's talk about you
You are a seasoned Senior Business Analyst with experience working with Agile delivery teams. You are an excellent communicator and facilitator who influences stakeholders through clear dialogue, structured engagement, and an ability to translate complex concepts into shared understanding.

You are collaborative, delivery‑focused, and demonstrate positive behaviours. Known for your disciplined approach to work, you thrive in fast paced and ambiguous environments, and you prioritise and complete tasks on time without compromising quality.

You embrace AI to enhance decision making, streamline processes, and uncover deeper insights from data and are proactive in identifying opportunities where intelligent automation and machine learning can drive value. Ideally, you also bring:

• Proven experience capturing and delivering requirements for technology initiatives
• Strong capability in user story decomposition, facilitating estimation sessions, and translating solution design diagrams into actionable technical stories
• Proficiency in tools such as Jira and Confluence, with a strong ability to absorb complex information, apply analytical thinking, and deliver clear, effective problem‑solving
• Ability to bridge the gap between technical and business language, ensuring everyone is aligned, from strategic intent through to delivery execution
• Strong understanding of technology and database concepts
• Exposure in applying AI across business functions and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities where intelligent automation and machine learning can drive value
