As part of a broader commitment to improving customer experience, operational efficiency and community services, an exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join the organisation on a permanent basis.

This is a highly visible role where you'll work closely with business leaders, end users and technical stakeholders to optimise and enhance a mature TechnologyOne environment while also contributing to a range of strategic transformation initiatives.

The Opportunity

This position sits within the Business Improvement function and plays a key role in the ongoing enhancement, support and optimisation of the organisation's TechnologyOne ERP platform.

The successful candidate will combine strong Business Analysis capabilities with proven Project Management and delivery experience, enabling them to lead initiatives from requirements gathering through to implementation, testing, change management and business adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis activities across TechnologyOne and related corporate systems.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyse and document business requirements and translate them into practical system solutions.
• Facilitate workshops, process mapping sessions and requirements discovery activities.
• Develop functional specifications, user stories, business rules, workflows and process documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across business systems, processes and service delivery functions.
• Manage and coordinate system enhancement projects from initiation through to deployment.
• Oversee implementation activities including planning, stakeholder management, risk identification and project reporting.
• Support and optimise TechnologyOne modules including Finance, Procurement, Regulatory and Customer-facing functions.
• Coordinate and execute system testing activities including SIT, UAT and defect management.
• Develop training materials, user guides and business process documentation.
• Deliver training and support to business users and key stakeholders.
• Work closely with vendors, project teams and business leaders to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
• Support change management and business readiness activities associated with new functionality and system upgrades.

About You

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst working on complex ERP or enterprise application projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with TechnologyOne.
• Experience across TechnologyOne implementations, upgrades, optimisation projects or digital transformation programs.
• Proven ability to lead workshops, gather requirements and map complex business processes.
• Strong project management and project delivery experience, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
• Experience producing functional specifications, business cases, process documentation and testing artefacts.
• Demonstrated experience facilitating SIT, UAT and business readiness activities.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience working within Local Government, State Government or the broader Public Sector will be highly regarded.
