Tech BA 

we’re looking to source a Technical Analyst / Technical BA to support the Nucleus product team.

This is not a standard BA role. We need someone who can act as the voice of the business while also bridging into technical delivery. The person should be comfortable working with product managers, product owners, developers, testers, architects and stakeholders to ensure product features are well-defined, technically feasible and aligned to product strategy.

Key responsibilities will include:

Eliciting, analysing and documenting business requirements for new features and enhancements.

Translating business needs into clear technical specifications, use cases, user stories and acceptance criteria.

Identifying technical constraints, delivery risks and implementation considerations.

Supporting technical documentation such as data models, API specifications and system diagrams.

Assessing technical feasibility of proposed features and recommending suitable implementation pproaches.

Working closely with developers, testers and technical teams to ensure delivery matches the agreed specification.

Participating in Agile ceremonies and proactively raising issues, blockers or risks.

We are particularly interested in candidates with:

Proven Technical Analyst / Technical BA experience in a product development environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Agile delivery experience.

Experience working with Microsoft 365-based collaboration and documentation tooling, including Teams, SharePoint, OneNote and Office documents.

Experience with Azure DevOps or similar backlog and delivery-management tooling would be beneficial.

Awareness of software delivery, data modelling, database concepts, testing and QA.

The ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience in process transformation, user experience improvement or design thinking would also be beneficial.

The right fit will be someone adaptable, curious and delivery-focused, with enough technical depth to cut through ambiguity and enough BA discipline to keep the focus on business value and clear requirements. They must be comfortable moving between BAU, PoC and change activity.
