Jacobs is seeking a dynamic Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Business Analyst for the Drinking Water Project in Oklahoma City, OK where you’ll be working directly with the Project Director to support the delivery team. Swift action is needed by committed individuals looking for a long-term employment opportunity to help us provide commercial and administrative support to our wastewater treatment project in Oklahoma City, OK. Jacobs has an exciting opportunity to support our Operations Management & Facilities Services (OMFS) project and have a direct hand in challenging today and reinventing tomorrow!

Your role as a project controls professional includes

  • Managing financials including, but not limited to reporting, budgeting, forecasting, revenue recognition, and performance variance analysis.
  • Partnering with a variety of internal stakeholders including local managers, regional and corporate leadership, the OMFS commercial team, contracts, purchasing, and accounting.
  • A focus on risk management, financial analysis, and accounting support.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks that could negatively impact project success
  • Reviewing purchasing requisitions to ensure alignment with appropriate cost budgets and task
  • Invoicing review and reconciliation of budget accounts

Here's what you'll need

  • B.A. or B.S. degree from a four-year accredited college or university with course work in engineering, business, finance, and/or accounting or equivalent experience
  • Progressive experience related to accounting and finance experience in industry or consulting services
  • Extensive prior experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning and reporting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (advanced in Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Exemplary organization and time management techniques
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Valid driver's license with no major infractions

Ideally, You'll Also Have

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with very fine attention to detail
  • Exemplary organization and time management techniques
  • Advanced course work or certification in business, finance, and/or accounting with applicable work experience is a benefit and a desire

The base salary range for this position is $74,700.00 to $95,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
