Are you an accounting professional who knows Workday inside and out? We're looking for a Workday Consultant who can bridge the gap between Accounting and HRIS by leveraging Workday's reporting and financial capabilities to support business operations and decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the organization's Workday subject matter expert, providing support and guidance to accounting and finance teams.
- Design, build, and maintain complex Workday reports and dashboards to support financial reporting and operational needs.
- Analyze accounting and financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Partner with Accounting, Finance, HR, and IT to optimize Workday functionality and reporting capabilities.
- Troubleshoot Workday reporting issues and recommend system enhancements.
- Assist with Workday implementations, upgrades, testing, and ongoing system maintenance.
- Develop and document reporting processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting requirements as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of accounting or finance experience.
- Advanced experience using Workday, with a strong emphasis on report writing and report development.
- Experience creating custom reports, calculated fields, dashboards, and data analysis within Workday.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple departments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Workday Financials or Workday Adaptive Planning.
- Experience with Workday implementations or system optimization projects.
- Background in public accounting or corporate accounting is a plus.
