Platform Engineer

Overview

Agility Partners is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join one of our financial services clients. This role will support strategic technology initiatives focused on lending platforms and enterprise modernization. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business and technology by translating high-level business needs into actionable requirements that drive digital transformation and platform enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements, translating business needs into detailed functional specifications.
• Partner with business stakeholders, product teams, and technical resources to support platform enhancements and technology initiatives.
• Lead requirements gathering sessions, process analysis, and solution workshops.
• Create user stories, process flows, and functional documentation for Agile development teams.
• Refine requirements, manage dependencies, and ensure solutions align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support enterprise technology initiatives and platform modernization efforts.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst within complex enterprise environments.
• Ability to translate high-level business requirements into detailed user stories, process flows, and technical requirements.
• Experience working closely with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
• Experience working in Agile environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within a SAFe Agile environment.
• Background supporting Mortgage Lending, Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC), or related financial services products.
• Experience with Encompass, enterprise lending platforms, or platform engineering initiatives.
