Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements (User Stories, BRDs, FRDs).
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business processes and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Design and support solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
- Perform hands-on Salesforce configuration, including:
- Data model design (objects, relationships, fields)
- Page layouts, record types, and dynamic forms
- Validation rules, flows, and process automation
- Profiles, permission sets, and access control
- Understand and support data flow across systems (e.g., Salesforce to external platforms).
- Collaborate with developers and architects on integrations and complex use cases.
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and project documentation.
- Ensure solutions align with Salesforce best practices and scalability.
- Analyze business requirements and prepare comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for Salesforce implementations and enhancements.
- Validate Salesforce configurations, workflows, flows, reports, dashboards, and integrations against business requirements.
- Execute test cases, document test results, and ensure complete test coverage.
- Log, track, prioritize, and manage defects using tools such as Jira, and work closely with development teams for resolution.
- Participate in defect triage meetings and support root cause analysis activities.
- Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including preparation of UAT scripts and obtaining stakeholder sign-offs.
- Ensure production releases meet quality standards and support post-deployment validation activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, templates, and testing best practices.
- 4+ years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst with QA responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of:
- Sales Cloud
- Service Cloud
- Experience Cloud
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration beyond basic setup, including:
- Flows and automation (must-have)
- Data modeling and relationships
- Security model (profiles, permission sets)
- Good understanding of integrations and cross-system data flows.
- Experience in test planning, test execution, defect management, and UAT coordination.
- Ability to work on moderately complex requirements and scenarios.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong skills in:
- Requirement gathering and analysis
- Stakeholder communication
- Test case preparation and execution
- Documentation (Jira, Confluence)
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Business Analyst, or related credentials.
- Experience working with Salesforce testing methodologies and release management processes.
- Exposure to integration testing involving APIs and third-party systems.
