Outline and Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of program cost base, in order to constructively challenge spend with Operations and Support functions
- Cost & margin analysis by budget-holder, for output to Senior leadership. Identify improvement areas and develop strategies to optimize cost performance.
- Support preparation of annual cost budgets and periodic forecasting.
- Cost benchmarking (internal and external) to optimize total delivered cost
- Business partnering with Operations to identify and deliver cost improvement initiatives.
- Additional job responsibilities to be discussed at interview
Background and Experience Required:
- Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/FCCA), or QBE with significant experience
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, financial analysis, and budgeting
- Experience in Manufacturing Finance desirable
- Strong business partnering background, including engagement with Senior leadership
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively to non-financial stakeholders
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel
- Working knowledge of SAP desirable, but not essential
