Business Analyst (Consulting)

Newcastle (3 days onsite)

£40,000 – £55,000 base + company bonus, pension & private medical

A leading global digital & technology consultancy (name withheld) are expanding their North East delivery hub. They’re looking for an SC‑clearable Business Analyst to join their software delivery teams, working across major transformation programmes for high‑profile clients.

What you’ll do as a Technical Business Analyst:

• Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, translating requirements into clear, actionable specifications.
• Produce functional designs, sequence diagrams, process flows, user stories and detailed acceptance criteria.
• Work closely with Product Owners to shape and refine the product backlog.
• Support business impact assessments across multiple workstreams, identifying risks, constraints, and dependencies.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, UX/UI designers and architects throughout the full SDLC.
• Run and participate in Agile ceremonies
• Advocate for user‑centred, data‑driven decision making within delivery teams.

You’ll ideally bring:

• 2+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst working in software delivery or technical environments.
• Strong experience producing detailed artefacts (functional designs, user stories, business rules, process maps etc.).
• Ability to engage confidently with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Understanding of APIs, databases, integrations, and modern digital delivery.
• Experience working within Agile teams on multi‑disciplinary digital projects.
• Eligibility for SC clearance (5 years in the UK required).

The Package:

• £40,000 – £55,000 base salary
