Workday Time & Absence Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Workday Time Tracking and Absence Management modules.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into functional Workday solutions.
• Configure Time Entry Templates, Time Calculations, Time Codes, Time Code Groups, Work Schedules, Shift Schedules, and Holiday Calendars.
• Configure Time Off Plans, Leave of Absence Plans, Accruals, Carryover Rules, Eligibility Rules, and Service Dates.
• Design and configure Business Processes, approvals, notifications, validations, and security roles.
• Perform functional testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production validation.
• Support Workday releases by analyzing new features and implementing enhancements.
• Work closely with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to resolve functional issues and improve business processes.
• Create and maintain Workday reports and dashboards related to Time & Absence.
• Prepare functional documentation, configuration workbooks, and user training materials.
• Provide post-production support and troubleshoot production issues.

• 8-10 years of Workday Functional experience.
• Strong experience in Workday Time Tracking and Absence Management.
• Experience with Core HCM configuration.
• Expertise in:
• Time Tracking
• Absence Management
• Time Entry Templates
• Time Calculations
• Time Off Plans
• Leave of Absence
• Accruals and Carryover Rules
• Eligibility Rules
• Business Process Configuration
• Workday Security
• Workday Reporting
• Knowledge of Payroll integrations with Time & Absence.
• Experience in end-to-end Workday implementation, support, or enhancement projects.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  

• Workday Time Tracking Certification.
• Workday Absence Management Certification.
• Experience with Workday Payroll integrations.
• Knowledge of EIBs, Report Writer, and Workday Release Management.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• At least one full-cycle Workday implementation and support project.
• Experience working with global clients and distributed teams.

Salary range $80500 to $157500
