Job Title : - Business Analyst
Location : - Washington, D.C. (Hybrid – 3–4 days/week at the client site)
Employment Type : - Full-Time
Key Requirements
Mandatory Skills:
- Financial Services (FS) domain experience
- Experience working on Master Data Management (MDM) projects
- Strong experience writing Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and/or User Stories
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, ceremonies, and project management practices
Highly Preferred:
- Private Equity (PE) domain experience
- Experience with Semarchy MDM and/or Semarchy xDM/EBX
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business sponsors and product owners to prioritize product features and enhancements.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and user stories.
- Translate enhancement requests into functional requirements or map them to existing capabilities.
- Support business process improvement by simplifying and standardizing workflows.
- Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and development teams.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 6–10+ years of Business Analysis experience.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience in Financial Services, preferably Private Equity.
- Hands-on experience with MDM initiatives.
- Knowledge of Semarchy MDM/EBX is a strong advantage.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
