Job Title : - Business Analyst

Location : - Washington, D.C. (Hybrid – 3–4 days/week at the client site)

Employment Type : - Full-Time


Key Requirements


Mandatory Skills:

  • Financial Services (FS) domain experience
  • Experience working on Master Data Management (MDM) projects
  • Strong experience writing Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and/or User Stories
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, ceremonies, and project management practices

Highly Preferred:

  • Private Equity (PE) domain experience
  • Experience with Semarchy MDM and/or Semarchy xDM/EBX

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business sponsors and product owners to prioritize product features and enhancements.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and user stories.
  • Translate enhancement requests into functional requirements or map them to existing capabilities.
  • Support business process improvement by simplifying and standardizing workflows.
  • Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and development teams.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 6–10+ years of Business Analysis experience.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience in Financial Services, preferably Private Equity.
  • Hands-on experience with MDM initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Semarchy MDM/EBX is a strong advantage.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
