  • Define acceptance criteria that enable engineers to execute work with minimal ambiguity.
  • Ensure stories are implementation-ready before entering delivery backlogs.
  • Identify gaps, dependencies, assumptions, risks, and unanswered questions.

Technical Documentation

  • Document current-state and future-state architecture.
  • Create process flows, system interaction diagrams, and service dependency documentation.
  • Maintain project documentation and technical runbooks.

Process Improvement

  • Improve consistency of intake requests and story quality.
  • Establish repeatable documentation and requirements management practices.
  • Help create standards for acceptance criteria and work decomposition.
  • Contribute to governance and delivery process improvements.

Requires an extensive knowledge of the system development life cycle and of the business area's functions and systems, and application development alternatives.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Technical Analyst, Product Analyst, or Technical Project Manager.
  • Experience writing detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements.
  • Ability to decompose large initiatives into executable work items.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Databases and data flows
  • Event-driven architectures and messaging systems
  • Infrastructure-as-Code concepts

  • Familiarity with AWS services.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, DevOps, or similar tools.
  • Experience creating process maps and architecture documentation.
