What You Will Do

As the Commercial Operations Analyst, you will be the operational backbone of the Planning & Analysis team. Reporting to the Commercial Operations Manager, you will own the execution and continuous improvement of manufacturing operations analysis, sales operations, resource planning, and financial modeling. Your work will directly shape the processes needed to scale our commercial operations effectively.

You are detail-oriented and focused on execution. You take ownership of your workflows, running them with precision while proactively surfacing opportunities for improvement. You are equally capable of running an established workflow and building a quick analytical tool from scratch. You are comfortable operating independently and managing multiple workstreams.

How You Will Do It

  • Resource Planning (SIOP) Execution: Run the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning process, gathering key inputs and translating outputs into demand, capacity, and financial implications.
  • Financial Reporting & Model Maintenance: Maintain and enhance cost estimation models and FP&A tools, ensuring inputs are accurate and up to date to support pricing and margin analysis.
  • Sales Operations Management: Execute the full sales operations workflow, including order entry and review, customer portal coordination, invoicing, and regular sales reporting.
  • Process Prototyping: Rapidly build and iterate lightweight operational tools and models to meet immediate business needs, then hand off proven workflows for formalization into scalable systems.
  • Process Improvement: Identify gaps and inefficiencies in current processes and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and implement improvements.

Required

What we look for:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in finance, operations, engineering, or a related analytical discipline is required.
  • Experience: 2–5 years of experience in an operations, finance, or manufacturing environment with direct involvement in financial reporting, production planning, or order management.
  • Operational Reliability: A track record of owning recurring workflows end-to-end with high accuracy and minimal oversight.
  • Analytical Ability: Ability to work within and maintain complex operational and financial models.
  • Communication: Clear and concise in surfacing operational issues and reporting findings to both technical teammates and business stakeholders.

Preferred

  • Adaptability: Experience in a high-growth environment where processes are still being defined.
  • AI Tools/Programming: Familiarity with leveraging AI tools or lightweight automation to improve productivity and processes

This role generally requires 4 days onsite per week at our Burlington, MA site.
