Responsibilities
Analytical & Reporting:
- Monitor and track pricing model initiatives and new business/renewal strategies
- Develop and maintain Power BI (PBI) reports for performance monitoring
- Provide regular updates on pricing strategies and adherence to budget targets
- Manage and support DE rule monitoring and compliance
- Analyze submission data to understand drivers of bind likelihood and pricing influence
- Support Excess Workers’ Compensation (WC) initiatives and related projects
- Collaborate on Behavioral Analytics programs
- Assist in Agency plant expansion efforts in partnership with distribution teams
- Evaluate and understand levers influencing quote to bind, RNS rate, available-to-renew, and retention metrics
- Deep understanding of key performance indicators and line of business expertise to positively influence KPIs
- Participate in ad hoc projects (e.g., partnerships, software collaborations)
- Work closely with APM and Data Science teams on model development (pricing, quote-to-bind, renewal retention)
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve underwriting and pricing processes
- 3+ years experience in workers compensation related field, with focus on Underwriting/Product Management/Actuarial or Data Science.
- Communication skills are paramount, both written, oral and presentations
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Power BI/SQL and data visualization
- Ability to interpret complex data and translate into actionable strategies
- Solid understanding of WC insurance products and industry practices
- Collaborative mindset for cross-functional projects and agency growth initiatives
The expected salary range for this role is $56,000-90,000k/yr
