Primary Responsibilities
- Works independently while partnering with Division Vice Presidents and their management teams to regularly measure and improve business performance
- Serves as professional support for all aspects of the business for the Division Vice President and Regional Operations Director
- Performs real-time financial and operating analysis on current financial results, operating statistics, metrics, and other operating data to identify weaknesses and opportunities for improved performance
- Maintains excellent communication with supervisors, operations management personnel, and home office personnel
- Regularly prepares variance analyses of operating income statements and provides management with recommendations for operating improvements
- Reviews weekly projections from the home office budgeting department and provides feedback prior to weekly release
- Actively participates in Monthly Operations Review meetings
- Actively participates in the annual budget process related to operating budgets for all respective divisions
Required Qualifications
- Healthcare experience
- 3+ years of accounting or finance experience
- Proficiency in modern accounting software platforms and databases, along with strong skills in Microsoft Office applications
- Proven excellent analytical and technical financial skills with the ability to quickly identify and evaluate business risks and apply appropriate resolution techniques
- Proven high level of motivation with a strong sense of urgency to complete tasks accurately and on time
- Proven highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade through credibility, integrity, and professionalism
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with other management personnel to achieve high levels of operating performance
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- Post-acute health care experience
