About The Role:


The Sr. IT Business Analyst will serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and software development teams, supporting the Front Office suite of applications across North America. This role drives application enhancements and system improvements by translating business needs into clear functional requirements and supporting software delivery throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).


  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements for application enhancements and new capabilities.
  • Lead or participate in multiple projects by gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements, collaborating with business and technical teams, managing priorities and scope, and supporting the successful delivery of application enhancements throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Identify, create, and facilitate process and application enhancements by conducting business and systems analysis, defining requirements, evaluating solution impacts, and collaborating with business and technical teams to deliver solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, process flows, etc.
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams to implement requirements and communicate to diverse audiences (management, customers, technical teams, etc.).
  • Hands on knowledge with various forms of testing- including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validation of requirements.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify patterns and trends, and troubleshoot applications and data-related issues using SQL and Excel.


What You’ll Need to Be Successful


  • Experience: 3+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting enterprise applications, software development projects, or system implementations.
  • Education: Bachelor/University Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Language: Fluent reading, writing, and speaking in English. All resumes need to be submitted in English.
  • Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile/Scrum methodologies, and enterprise application delivery processes.
  • Excellent Communication – Able to communicate effectively through oral and written communication channels.
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel.
  • Self-motivating and ability to multitask.
  • Good technical understanding – able to understand and keep high level picture in mind while working on low level details.
  • Familiar with APIs, integrations, and middleware concepts.
  • Familiar with good user interface design and practices.
  • Banking or financial experience is preferred.
